3 pieces of advice for the entry-level manager

  1. Be clear about the changed relationships: engage with your team, tell them what is expected of them and also what they can expect of you. What you see, is what you get!

  2. Delegate and give confidence. Allow your people the freedom to achieve desired results with their own insights.

  3. Give clear feedback with regularity and promptly when your employee does things differently than what you expect. Waiting until the annual performance review is not an option.
